Hilversumsche Golf Club

Founded in 1895, the Hilversumsche Golf Club is home to a superb 18-hole golf course. In recent years the course has been renovated by golf course architect Kyle Phillips, with many aspects of the original Harry Colt designed course being retained where possible.

Koninklijke Haagsche G&C Club

Founded in 1893, The Royal Hague Golf & Country Club is the oldest golf club in the Netherlands. The current course was built in 1938 by famous architects Colt, Alison & Morrison Ltd and recently renovated by architect Frank Pont, with most of the original features of the Colt course retained.

Kennemer G&C Club

The Kennemer Golf & Country Club is situated in the North-west coastal region of Holland, just 45 minutes from the capital. Founded in 1910, the course is spread over a large expanse of natural sand dunes making it an interesting and challenging course.

Golfclub Broekpolder

Only a stones throw from the centre of Rotterdam lies Golfclub Broekpolder in the midst of typical Dutch landscape. Broekpolder is the most beautiful course in the area and well known for the quality of its greens from early spring to late autumn and in particular it’s peacefulness. 

Rosendaelsche Golfclub

The Rosendaelsche Golfclub was founded on February 17, 1895 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the Netherlands. In 1908 the Rosendaelsche Golfcllub moved to the Delhuyzen estate in Arnhem. Despite the move to Arnhem, the name of the original Rosendaelsche Golfclub remained.

Golfclub Toxandria

The Noord-Brabantsche Golfclub Toxandria at Molenschot, close to the cities of Breda and Tilburg, is one of the Netherlands’ finest inland golf clubs. Founded in 1928, it was the first golf club in the province of Brabant. The 18-hole golf course was designed by the British golf course architect J.F. Morrison and the challenging layout is set amongst the woods of Noord-Brabant.

Eindhovensche Golf

Designed by Harry Colt and founded in 1930, the Eindhoven Golf Club boasts an excellent 18-hole heathland course that is routed through a dense forest, just a few kilometres to the south of Eindhoven.

Noordwijkse Golfclub

The Noordwijkse Golf Club is situated near the North Sea shore and dates back to 1915, when it was a 9-hole course. In 1972, golf course architect Frank Pennink created a new 18-hole course set amongst the dunes and just 5km north of the original one.

UGC De Pan

De Pan dates back to 1894, with the current course layout having been designed by the superb golf course architect Harry Colt in 1929. The course is the second oldest course in the Netherlands and has a classic English heathland design.

Boek: 'De Nederlandse golfgeschiedenis'

Het boek behandelt de gehele geschiedenis van golf in Nederland, van de eerste vormen van golf tot en met de staat van het spel anno nu. In het eerste deel van 'De Nederlandse golfgeschiedenis' wordt antwoord gegeven op de veelgestelde vraag wat de oorsprong is van golf in Schotland en wat de relatie is met het oude spel met den colve in de Lage Landen . Het tweede deel geeft in brede context een totaaloverzicht van de ontwikkeling van golf in Nederland vanaf 1893 voor de ‘happy few’ tot het populaire spel van nu. Het slothoofdstuk, over Nederlands sportief succes, is geschreven door golfjournalist Jan Kees van der Velden.
