De Pan is considered among the most beautiful courses in the Netherlands and was designed in 1929 by the brilliant architect H. Colt. The fairways stretch over a sloping terrain, in the middle of a majestic forest. The golfer can enjoy peace and peaceful nature here, where deer and foxes feel at home. The frequent moors are often a natural obstacle in the fairways. Several exit points are raised or lowered due to the hilly nature of the course. This beautiful challenging forest track, which was built on sandy soil, is technically very well thought out. Worth mentioning is the 6th hole, where after the first blind tee-shot you have to aim the ball again at a cross high on a tree marked in the hope of ending up on the green!
